A live online discussion and Q+A with UK algorave stalwarts Antonio Roberts and Alex McLean, joined by top live coders from overseas Melody Loveless (from livecode.nyc in the US), and Abhinay Khoparzi (from Algorave India). They’ll talk about how live coding and algorave has developed as it has spread around the world, and how local communities have picked it up, adapted it, merged it with different practices. They’ll also talk about how their communities have responded to the pandemic, by making music and art together online. They’ll bring plenty of tips for how you can dip your toe in, whether trying out accessible and free tools live coding software, or even putting on an algorave yourself. Plus, they’ll be sure leave plenty of time to answer your questions. Get involved!
