Plot 9a has been fully let to the Government Property Agency. Minister Jeremy Quin broke ground on the Government Property Agency’s First Street Hub in March. When the hub opens, 2,500 civil servants will be based in the new office, taking the total number of people working at First Street to around 6,000.
It’s great news for Manchester too as the move of civil service roles to the city is expected to generate £30m for every 1,000 government roles located here
