The Midland Hotel

The elegant Midland Hotel is a grand hotel designed by the railway architect Charles Trubshaw in an Edwardian Baroque style, which first opened in 1903, built to serve rail travellers using Manchester Central Station. A much loved, historic building, it has played an important role in the city’s life ever since.
The Midland offers 312 rooms and luxury suites, plus award-winning restaurants, and a spa with a blissful range of beauty treatments. The hotel recently enjoyed a £14m refurbishment and remains one of the city’s most iconic locations.
