Society Manchester

Positioned next to The Bridgewater Hall, Society is the latest multi-trader food and drink hall to pop up, giving a chance for independent artisans to work together making something special. You’ll find five street-food kitchens, a cocktail bar, and a craft beer taproom in the massive post-industrial space.

Open from 10am and seating 350 guests, Society caters to each stage of the day, from breakfasts to lunches and coffees through to evening meals and quality late-night drinking sessions. Events happen throughout the year, and on any given night you’ll often find Regal Disco, On The Corner Records and Pete From London providing top-notch DJ skills to complement your food and drink.

The line-up of independent traders is undeniably impressive. Slap & Pickle are in the high-end burger business, serving up top quality meat and trimmings, while Manzoku Street Food dips into various East Asian cuisines. Husband and wife team Chaat Cart provides lovingly-made Indian street food that has appeared in BBC Good Food and Dokes Pizzeria do top-class speciality pizzas. Yoki Social Table deals in fantastic Korean food, while the taproom is provided by Vocation, an award-winning craft brewery from Hebden Bridge.

Guests can simply pick a bench and mix and match across these providers, so feel free to try a bite from each. If you want quality food and drink in an informal atmosphere, look no further than Society.
