Oxford Road Corridor’s Executive Member, Diana Hampson, honoured in Queen’s Birthday Honours List

The Queen’s 2020 Birthday Honours List, along with a special COVID-19 Honours list, has been announced. Of the 1,495 honours, and additional 414 awarded to heroes of the pandemic, Diana Hampson and other partners of Oxford Road Corridor have been acknowledged.

Oxford Road Corridor’s Executive member, Diana Hampson has been awarded an MBE for her services to higher education and communities in Greater Manchester. As Director of Estates and Facilities at The University of Manchester, Diana leads the delivery of the £1 billion Campus Masterplan and is responsible for over 887,000 square metres of academic, administrative, commercial and residential accommodation. Her leadership and commitment to excellence, is a source of pride for all at Oxford Road Corridor.

Other partners have also been acknowledged in the Honours List, notably a range of staff from Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, The University of Manchester and Manchester City Council. The individuals who have been awarded Honours have provided outstanding services that have benefited the communities that the Corridor encapsulates.
