Turn at Contact — Maisha Kungu Dance

Presented by Word of Warning and Contact, Turn, the annual whirlwind of new dance returns: ten works by North West dancemakers take over Contact for one extraordinary night.

From industrial heritage to village life, clothing to clubbing, Manchester to Ghana, inner worlds and outer expressions — an evening of physical exploration of identity featuring 10 different pieces by 10 different artists and companies.

Fluidly lyrical, effervescently acrobatic, or eccentrically innovative, let Turn 2023 transport you into a frenzy of dance.
