The Poetry Place – Renaissance of Poetry at Contact
Poetry Place is proud to have created an uplifting, vibrant and soulful space, with some of the best poets in the city and across the country, which will no doubt inspire you with cultivated and crafted words from the wordsmiths. The evening will journey through poetry and live music that explores multifaceted journeys of each poet, exploring racism, masculinity and femininity, empowerment, working class experiences, faith and spirituality and much more.
Curated and hosted by Poets Griot Gabriel and Cherrelle-Anne, they strive on showcasing impactful poetry, as they believe it’s the medicine the world needs now.
