Summer Creative Camp at Contact Theatre

Contact’s Summer Creative Camp is 12 exciting days of workshops for young people aged 11-16.  Taking place over the first two weeks of the summer holidays, the camp covers everything from arts and craft to dance, music, drama and filmmaking.

This year’s Summer Creative Camp delves deep into music. Find out more about learning, playing and recording music with Band School as well as music production, songwriting and working in a real professional studio with Music Drop. As you would expect from Contact, there are workshops exploring both acting for stage and screen, as well as technical workshops for those interested in the backstage profession and getting hands-on with lights and sound.

At Film School young people can learn how to make films using professional equipment and software. All of this as well as movement workshops including breakdancing, capoeira and stage combat and much more, creative art and design classes and a dedicated space for gamers.

All in all Contact’s Summer Creative Camp ticks all the boxes and is a brilliant opportunity for young creative minds.
