Soul Journey to Truth at HOME

HOME return from lockdown with Soul Journey to Truth, an exhibition shining a light on the creative talent within prisons, secure settings, and people on probation in the North West.

Lady Unchained (Brenda Birungi) has curated over 135 artworks from entries to the 2020 Koestler Awards – an annual scheme run by Koestler Arts, the UK’s leading prison arts charity promoting artistic achievement in the criminal justice system and secure sectors.

Part of The Ripples of Hope Festival, which takes place on 15-19 September, this exhibition aims to share the fragile and powerful stories through art that would otherwise go unheard.
