SOFY plunged into the music scene after harnessing the pandemic-induced furlough to cultivate her unique sound that swiftly garnered acclaim from industry stalwarts like Clara Amfo, Jess Iszatt, and Gemma Bradley. Notably, she secured the runner-up spot in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge’s nationwide talent competition, competing against 10,000 applicants.
SOFY has a fanbase that includes heavyweights like YUNGBLUD, Sam Fender, Arlo Parks, and Tom Grennan, who hailed her music as “proper British with that cheeky chappie, Lily (Allen) attitude.” Achieving feats that typically take years, SOFY has already secured a spot on the FIFA 23 soundtrack with her single ‘Big Talk.’
Her debut EPs, Bored In Color (Pt. 1) and Bored In Color (Pt. 2) received critical acclaim, and in 2025 SOFY is releasing her debut album Another Day In Paradise. Latest single ‘Desktop’ gives you a taste of what to expect at YES in April.
