Slow Pulp bring their acclaimed blend of indie rock, dream pop and grunge-tinged guitars to Gorilla this February, touring their third album, Melodie.
Formed in Wisconsin before relocating to Chicago, the four-piece have earned a devoted following with emotionally rich songwriting, soaring melodies and a sound shaped by ’90s alternative rock and 2000s indie. Following the breakthrough success of Moveys and Yard, Melodie finds the band balancing power-pop highs with moments of acoustic intimacy, reflecting on change, memory and fresh beginnings.
Having previously toured with Pixies, Death Cab for Cutie and Alvvays, Slow Pulp arrive in Manchester as one of indie rock’s most compelling live acts. Expect an evening of heartfelt songs, expansive guitar textures and the quietly powerful performances that have made them one of the genre’s standout bands.
