Chicago rapper and producer Saba will bring his Big Picture Tour to Manchester Academy this autumn.
First rising to prominence as a close collaborator of Chance the Rapper, Saba has since carved out a distinctive space in hip-hop with his thoughtful lyricism and genre-blending production. He is also known for working with fellow Chicago artist Noname, featuring on her acclaimed tracks and inviting her onto his 2016 debut Bucket List Project.
Saba’s music has often drawn on personal experience, most notably his 2018 album CARE FOR ME, written in response to the loss of his cousin and Pivot Gang member Walter Long. More recently, he teamed up with veteran producer No ID for From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID, his first release since 2022’s Few Good Things. Fans can expect a setlist that spans these projects, showcasing the breadth of his catalogue.
