This International Women’s Day, Deaf Institute is hosting a full day of talks, music and networking, hosted by some of the most influential and successful women & non-binary in the biz.

We’re lucky to live In one of the biggest cities for music and events, where women Women well and truly ‘Run The Show!’

Join in from 2 pm for a string of panel discussions with Manchester’s venue programmers, live event freelancers, radio hosts and more. Followed by a chance to connect with like minds, network and have a drink or two! DJs and live music on until 11pm.

CONFERENCE 

Doors – 2 pm
Panel 1 // “Centre Stage” – Life as a female nonbinary artist Hosted by Karen Boardman (Arts Council)
Panel 2 // “Behind The Curtain” – Booking live events Hosted by Rivca Burns (Manchester International Festival and Sounds From the other city)
Panel 3 // “From Scratch” – Starting your own project Hosted by DJ Polly (Bad Bitch Club and Loose Fit)
Panel 4 // “Going Solo” – Working freelance Hot Rebecca Pickles (Freelance Events manager for YNOT, Parklife, Kendal Calling)
