Royel Otis is an Australian indie duo formed by childhood friends Otis Pavlovic and Royel Maddell. After their debut EP Campus (2021), they started experimenting with their sound, shifting from synths to guitars in their next two EPs, Bar & Grill and Sofa Kings (2022). This transition marked a new chapter for the duo, embracing the raw, spontaneous energy of their demo recordings.
In 2024, Royel Otis soared to global virality, with PRATTS & PAIN. Named one of the Grammys’ 25 Artists to Watch, the band has picked up millions of streams, sold-out tours, and big slots at major festivals.
