Celebrate Pride with a special Queer Tour of Manchester Museum, led by the Museum’s Visitor Team. Exploring stories from across the collections, the tour uncovers LGBTQ+ histories, hidden narratives and the diverse experiences that shape our understanding of the world.

Visitors will discover how objects, people and places can reveal different perspectives on identity, belonging and representation, while exploring the Museum’s newly transformed galleries and welcoming spaces.

Taking place during Manchester Pride week, the tours offer an opportunity to see Manchester Museum through a queer lens and reflect on the stories that have often been overlooked or underrepresented.

Manchester Museum is committed to becoming one of the most inclusive, imaginative and caring museums in the world. Following its major redevelopment in 2023, the Museum continues to create spaces where communities can connect, share experiences and explore what it means to be human.

Tours take place at 11.15am every day during the last week of August.
