Pride Events at The Proud Place

The Proud Place is a space for Manchester’s LGBT+ Community and its friends and allies. They host everything from creative art workshops and games nights to training courses, LGBT+ speakers and pride events.

Over Manchester Pride there are a number of activities happening at the Sidney Street-based venue, starting with a free, drop-in banner-making session on the 24th, just in time for Manchester Pride! On the Saturday of Pride weekend, there is Drag story time for Manchester Youth Pride and an open mic in celebration of Manchester Pride. Then, on the Sunday, there is a drop-in zine workshop for Youth Pride MCR and a Youth Pride MCR Laughter Wellbeing Workshop.
