Manchester Poetry Library invites writers, poets and creatives to book one-to-one sessions with a member of the library team.

These informal meetings offer space to discuss projects, creative challenges, or reading recommendations in a relaxed and supportive setting. Sessions take place fortnightly on Tuesday evenings.

Participants are encouraged to bring ideas, questions or works-in-progress to talk through. While the sessions don’t include advance manuscript reading or formal feedback, they provide an opportunity for guidance, conversation and connection within the creative community.

The sessions are led by Supriya Kaur Dhaliwal, a writer and literary translator based in Manchester and a practice-based PhD researcher at Manchester Met’s Centre for Place Writing. Her research explores reservoirs as engineered ecologies shaped by memory and transformation, and her poetry has been widely published and translated internationally.
