Patterns in Nature

Patterns in Nature takes place every Thursday at Manchester Museum.

From the spots of a cheetah to the spirals of a sunflower, patterns are everywhere in nature.

Join a show and tell event with the museum’s curators, showing off the best patterns nature has to offer using fossils, shells and plants from the museum’s collection of over 4.5 million objects.

Entry to the museum and all of our events are free, spaces are limited so booking is essential. The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday 11am-4pm. Last entry is at 3.30pm. Please note, due to the ongoing Covid situation, in-person events may need to change to online events at short notice.
