Nature Inspired Upcycling

Ever wanted to upcycle, but not sure where to start? The Nature-Inspired Upcycling workshop at Manchester Museum is for you.

As the 3rd floor at the museum evolves and becomes a space for the future of education, they are giving their furniture a makeover, too.

Using collaging techniques inspired by nature, you can create something beautiful for the museum’s new space as well as getting practical experience in upcycling and tips for future projects, from artist Kate Eggleston-Wirtz and Jerwood Early Career Fellow Hattie Kongaunruan.

Entry to the museum and all of our events are free, spaces are limited so booking is essential. The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday 11am-4pm. Last entry is at 3.30pm. Please note, due to the ongoing Covid situation, in-person events may need to change to online events at short notice. We will email you if this happens. Priority tickets for those who need to visit at quieter times are available on Wednesdays and Fridays, 11am – 12pm.
