Meet the Artist – We are Nature: Wild Chorus at The Manchester Museum

Meet artists Harry Ovington and Oliver Halstead who will present a new short film piece ‘Sonic Rewild: A lockdown film’.

The film will show details about Harry’s processes in capturing and composing with environmental audio for the commissioned piece ‘Wild Chorus’. It will also feature footage from prominent locations which feature in the original piece.

The film began as a collaborative project toward the end of the first pandemic lockdown and has been completed together over the course of the following year.

This is part of a weekend of events to celebrate the next stage of hello future, the museum’s ambitious transformation project. The museum’s doors will temporarily close its doors to the public from 29 August until late 2022, so construction work can take place.
