Mary In The Junkyard, a new indie trio whose erie and experimental sound has been making waves at their live shows in London as well as on last summer’s festival circuit with sets at Bluedot and Greenman.
Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Clari Freeman-Taylor, Mary In The Junkyard is completed with bassist and viola player Saya Barbaglia and drummer David Addison.
Last year, they released an impressive debut single, Tuesday, which in parts bounces around like Hail To The Theif-era Radiohead with horse Julia Jacklin-like vocals and a stirring anthemic finish.
They make their Manchester debut at the YES basement in March, and if their debut single Tuesday is anything to go by, they’ll be well worth checking out and keeping an eye on.
