The weekend opens with Jonny Greenwood performing Steve Reich alongside the Hallé, setting the stage for an eclectic programme spanning opera, symphonic masterpieces, choral showcases, and adventurous new music. Highlights include the BBC Philharmonic exploring Gershwin, Bernstein and Strauss, the RNCM performing Mahler’s monumental Resurrection Symphony, and Manchester Collective’s electrifying The Body Electric.
