An evening of music with RNCM students alongside Manchester Camerata with conductor Robin Wallington.

The music kick things off with Jessie Montgomery’s Starburst, a short one movement work for string orchestra that musically mirrors a galactic starburst with exploding gestures of sound amidst fleeting melodies; followed by Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in B minor with RNCM alum and concerto finalist Jack Bailey. Finally, the evening is rounded off with Mendelssohn’s Symphony No 5 in D major, originally conceived to celebrate the Protestant Reformation.
