Lucia & the Best Boys

Lucia & the Best Boys return to Manchester in 2026 as part of their UK tour, with a date at Manchester Academy.

The band’s last release was their 2023 debut album Burning Castles, produced by Ash Workman and released through Communion Records. Although no new music has appeared since then, anticipation for their next phase remains high, with new material expected in 2026.

Their earlier rise was shaped by a run of busy touring, sold-out headline shows and festival appearances, where they introduced tracks from Burning Castles to growing crowds. Lucia Fairfull’s distinctive voice and on-stage presence helped cement the band’s reputation, leading to support slots with acts such as Wolf Alice and Dream Wife. Her work in fashion has also become part of the band’s visual identity, including collaborations with Alexander McQueen.

Drawing on influences ranging from Shirley Manson to Stevie Nicks, the band’s sound blends vulnerability with confidence, pairing sharp pop sensibilities with a darker alternative edge. The 2026 tour will give audiences the chance to revisit Burning Castles live while the band prepare for their next release.
