For more than two decades, Liverpool-founded electronic group Ladytron have forged a distinctive path through synth-pop, electro and alternative music, building an international following with their innovative sound and uncompromising artistic vision.
This December, the band bring their latest tour to The Ritz, Manchester, in support of their new double album, Paradises. Marking a new chapter in Ladytron’s evolution, the record introduces a warmer, more organic atmosphere while retaining the band’s signature electronic textures. Songs such as Secret Dreams of Thieves and Evergreen blend shimmering synths with natural imagery, creating a sound that feels expansive, melodic and quietly adventurous.
Since emerging in the early 2000s, Ladytron have become one of the UK’s most influential electronic acts. Drawing inspiration from synth-pop, industrial music, shoegaze and techno, they have continually reinvented their sound while earning admiration from artists across multiple generations.
