International Women’s Day with Mothers Who Make at HOME

On the 8 March, HOME is holding a special extra event for Mothers Who Make. Join them from 10.30am to 1pm for a celebration of the amazing, creative mothers in Manchester.
Mothers Who Make (MWM) is a peer support group and creative exchange session for mothers who are artists – professional and/or passionate – writers, painters, actors, dancers, filmmakers, photographers…every kind of maker is welcome, and every kind of mother.
Whether a regular to the group or want to come along for the first time, you are more than welcome to come and share your work with the group.
The event starts with tea, coffee and cake before inviting you to talk for around 3-5 mins on your artform. This can be an informal chat, sharing your work or just telling them about an up-and-coming project you are thinking about. Anything goes. The idea is to celebrate and support each other.
As always, you’re encouraged to bring your children if you want to.
