Inspired by Simon Mole’s book, ‘I Love My Bike’, Z-arts host a cycling-themed fun day in Hulme Park. Expect lots of two wheel-themed fun, including special guest Simon Mole who will be running poetry workshops with his book available to purchase.
Platt Fields Bike Hub will be there for free simple repairs and diagnostics, Bikeability will be running cycling skill workshops around the park, there will be bike themed arts and craft activities and a special bike trail set up to cycle, scoot or skate around. In the afternoon there will even be some yoga sessions to try! All of this activity is free as Z-arts encourage families to get out and about and active this summer – bring your skates, skateboards, scooters and bikes down to get involved!
