One of Manchester’s most promising new bands, Holly Head bring their high-energy live show to The Abbey this July.
Since emerging in 2022, the four-piece have built a growing reputation through relentless gigging and a sound that pulls together driving basslines, intricate rhythms and jagged guitars. Their debut single No Gain became a word-of-mouth favourite on the local scene and led to a BBC 6 Music New Music Fix session, while support slots with Sprints, Welly and Fuzz Lightyear have introduced them to audiences across the UK.
Drawing inspiration from everything from post-punk and funk to electronic music, Holly Head have developed a distinctive sound that feels both danceable and unpredictable. With a string of standout live performances behind them and growing momentum across the city, they arrive at The Abbey as a band very much on the rise.
