GZA – 25th Anniversary of Liquid Swords at Manchester Academy

Wu-Tang Clan MC and hip hop legend, GZA is coming to Manchester to honour the 25th anniversary of his seminal album, Liquid Swords.

Released in 1995 (this is actually the 27th anniversary of the record thanks to COVID) Liquid Swords is still considered one of the last great entries in Golden age hip hop and one of the genre’s all-time classics. Probably the best Wu-Tang solo project, it certified GZA as one of the finest lyricists in both the group and in hip hop in general.
