Getdown Services is the gloriously unhinged partnership of Josh Law and Ben Sadler. Having met at school in Minehead and now creating together in Bristol, the duo channel their razor-sharp wit and genre-bending instincts into electrifying, dance-ready music. Their acclaimed debut album Crisps (2023, Breakfast Records) introduced their now-signature blend of eclectic grooves and hilariously incisive commentary on modern Britain.
Following a string of raucous live shows and high-profile support slots with Pip Blom, Fat Dog, The Bug Club, Donny Benet, and Antony Szmierek, the band completed their biggest ever sold-out UK headline tour in autumn 2024, powered by the success of their lauded EP Your Medal’s In The Post.
With heavy BBC 6 Music backing from Craig Charles, Huw Stephens, and Cerys Matthews, 2025 has been a landmark year for Getdown Services. Fresh from a packed, triumphant appearance at The Ritz for Manchester Psych Fest and riding high on their latest EP Crumbs 2, the duo returns to Manchester for a New Year’s special guaranteed to be loud, wild, and unforgettable. Spending New Year’s with Getdown Services? An easy yes.
