Getdown Services

Getdown Services return to Manchester this autumn following their unforgettable late-night appearance at Manchester Psych Fest 2025, bringing their irreverent blend of dance-punk, electronic grooves and sharply observed humour to Manchester Academy.

Formed by school friends Josh Law and Ben Sadler, the Somerset-born, Bristol-based duo have built a devoted following through their energetic live shows and uniquely British songwriting. Their debut album Crisps introduced audiences to a world of infectious rhythms, deadpan wit and skewering observations on modern life, quickly earning praise from fans, critics and BBC 6 Music alike.

Since then, the pair have continued their upward trajectory with the acclaimed EP Your Medal’s In The Post, sold-out headline tours across the UK and Europe, and support slots alongside artists including Pip Blom, Fat Dog, The Bug Club, Donny Benet and Antony Szmierek.

Known for turning every show into a joyous, chaotic celebration, Getdown Services arrive in Manchester with a growing catalogue of crowd favourites and a reputation as one of the most entertaining live acts currently emerging from the UK underground.
