When Fcukers booked their debut show at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn in March 2023, the band had understandably modest expectations. They had uploaded their first two tracks only hours before stepping onstage, and each member had already weathered years in short-lived indie-rock projects that dissolved before gaining wider attention.
But producer and party promoter Jackson Walker Lewis helped spread the word, and the night quickly transformed into a sold-out, high-energy event. “It became this loud and rowdy dance party,” recalls lead singer Shanny Wise. “My friend got onstage and got naked. It was so different to any show I’d ever played before.”
Momentum built rapidly. Within months, Fcukers were performing headline shows in London and Paris, signing with Charli XCX’s booking agent, and amassing millions of streams for tracks like “Bon Bon” and “Homie Don’t Shake.” Their bold fusion of house, dub reggae, and pop has marked them as one of the most exciting and unpredictable new acts on the rise.
