Family Fun Day for International Mother Language Day at Central Library at Manchester Central Library

Communities across Manchester will come together to enjoy an afternoon of celebration for all the family. Sharing their stories, language, music, dance and food, it is sure to be a joyful gathering. Each community will offer a free family activity/craft. We have kites to make, felt bags to decorate, origami boats to build and much more!

Confirmed for this year are members of The Damascene Arabic School, the Armenian Community, the Pakistani Community, the Iranian Community and the Lithuanian Community, and for the first time in Central Library‘s event history, members of both the Libyan and Moroccan Amazigh community will be joining together to share their cultural heritage with everyone.
