Double Agents

FACT and Manchester Metropolitan University’s School of Digital Arts (SODA) present Double Agents: Play and Performance in Digital Worlds, a seminar series exploring the social, political and cultural impacts of advanced digital technologies. Hosted at SODA, the series brings together artists, curators and researchers from FACT and SODA to foster critical exchange across the North West.

This event is hosted by Professor Kirsty Fairclough and features Sahjan Kooner and Chris Paul Daniels. Sahjan Kooner is an artist and filmmaker whose installations and video works explore technology, race, speculative futures, and collaborative storytelling, including a forthcoming exhibition at FACT. Chris Paul Daniels is a Manchester-based filmmaker and artist whose experimental work engages with place, memory and narrative, with international screenings and acquisitions in major collections.

Together, the speakers discuss digital technologies, storytelling, and the evolving possibilities of contemporary artistic practice.
