Double Agents

ACT and Manchester Metropolitan University’s School of Digital Arts (SODA) present Double Agents: Play and Performance in Digital Worlds, a monthly evening seminar series exploring the social, political and cultural impacts of advanced digital technologies.

Running from January to April 2026 and hosted at SODA, the series brings together artists, curators and researchers from FACT and SODA to encourage critical exchange and strengthen connections between Liverpool and Manchester as leading centres for digital art and research.

This event is hosted by Professor Kirsty Fairclough and features Milia Xin Bi, Curator-in-Residence at FACT; artist and technologist Jan Zuiderveld; and award-winning writer, director and SODA Programme Leader David Jackson. Together, they explore AI, digital culture and contemporary creative practice through discussion and shared research.
