Deathcrash at YES

deathcrash, the London-based slowcore and post-rock quartet, perform at YES in support of their third album, Somersaults, released in February 2026 via Untitled (Recs). The album follows 2023’s Less and 2022’s debut Return.

Recorded between Black Box Studio in the Loire Valley and Holy Mountain in Haggerston, Somersaults continues the band’s exploration of atmospheric, introspective music. The album combines slowcore textures with elements of post-rock, folk, emo and sludge, featuring the recently released single “Triumph.” Bassist Patrick Fitzgerald has described the record as emerging from a place of personal growth and reflection, with the title track serving as a symbolic centerpiece.

Since their debut, deathcrash have earned a reputation for intense and immersive live performances, blending intimate dynamics with expansive soundscapes. Despite connections to the South London scene of bands such as Black Country, New Road and Black Midi, deathcrash maintain a reserved and mysterious presence, allowing their music to create a compelling emotional narrative.

The upcoming show will feature material from Somersaults alongside selections from the band’s earlier albums, capturing the layered, contemplative sound for which they have been praised internationally.
