David Byrne’s Night brings its unique mix of Talking Heads, Byrne solo work, and Robert Burns poetry to YES this January.
Founded by Maddy O’Keefe and Lola Stephen, the project has grown into a live institution, combining high-energy performances with rotating line-ups drawn from across the UK’s indie and experimental scenes.
This year’s Manchester edition features a house band and guests including members of Alien Chicks, Black Country, New Road, Clementine March, Denh Izen, Fat Dog, Goat Girl, Happyness, Hank, Human Interest, Platonica Erotica, Jonique, Roscoe Roscoe, Sculpture Park, and Tears at the Table.
Expect a night of Byrne classics reimagined, Burns’ words reinterpreted, and a community-driven show that thrives on unpredictability.
