Crossover Blendery – Guided Tasting at North Taproom

North Taproom at Circle Square will welcome George and Charlie from Crossover Blendery, for a guided tasting experience like no other. Throughout the tasting, you’ll hear about Crossover’s processes, the intricacies involved in producing spontaneously fermented beers, their emphasis on working with British ingredients and their relationships with farmers, as well as the opportunity to taste some of the finest beers being produced in the UK at the moment.

Your ticket will include: – 4 x 1/3 pours – A snacking board of cheese, pickles and apple

Crossover Blendery is located at Lannock Manor Farm in rural North Hertfordshire, UK. A beautiful, quiet place surrounded by rolling arable fields and small pockets of pasture. Founded by George and Charlie in 2018, Crossover Blendery is focused on producing complex beers which challenge and intrigue the drinker. The beers age in old French oak barrels for many years. And the fermentations are spontaneous, meaning it is only wild yeast and bacteria which operate in these ales. n emphasis is made on working with high-quality British ingredients. And the provenance of the ingredients is equally important. Farmers and growers are worked with directly, and an effort is made to source as close to the Blendery as possible. There are limited spaces available for this tasting – tasting should last approximately 90mins, with a chance to chat with George and Charlie after the tasting.
