Bournemouth-born and now Manchester-based, Chloe Slater is fast emerging as one of the most exciting new voices in UK alternative music. After finding her feet in the city’s open mic scene, she has developed a sharp, self-assured sound alongside producer Jack Shute, blending lo-fi indie, biting lyricism and a distinctive sense of humour.
Her debut album Riot Youth marks the next chapter in Chloe’s rise, capturing the frustration, energy and uncertainty of growing up in modern Britain. Following the acclaimed EP You Can’t Put A Price On Fun, which featured standout tracks including Nothing Shines On This Island and Price On Fun — a BBC Introducing Radio 1 Track of the Week — Chloe continues to build a reputation for honest songwriting and infectious alt-pop hooks.
Having recently made her Glastonbury debut via the BBC Music Introducing stage and joined Courtney Barnett on tour, Chloe arrives at Manchester Academy with growing momentum and a sound that feels both immediate and unmistakably her own.
Catch Chloe as she brings Riot Youth to life, delivering sharp observations, raw energy and songs made for a new generation.
