The Centre for Digital Trust and Society (CDTS) invites you to the CDTS Seed Corn Showcase, a celebration of pioneering research in digital trust. This event highlights the groundbreaking achievements of five research projects funded in 2023-2024 through CDTS’s Seed Corn Funding. While cybersecurity is part of the scope, the Centre’s vision extends beyond to address broader themes, such as trustworthiness, distrust, and resilience in digital contexts.

The concept of “trust” has varied interpretations across technical and social sciences, with “trustworthiness” meaning different things to computer scientists, engineers, psychologists, and philosophers. This diversity enriches the field, creating unique opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.

What is the CDTS Seed Corn Funding?

CDTS annually supports innovative research that explores critical questions at the intersection of digital trust and society. The Seed Corn program provides resources for promising ideas and supports initiatives like pilot studies, workshops, symposia, and collaborative exchanges. This showcase event offers insights into the successes of this year’s funded projects and opens doors for future involvement in digital trust research.

What to Expect:

  • Insights into the five funded projects
  • Discussions on recent advancements in digital trust
  • Opportunities for involvement in future digital trust research
  • Networking over a drinks reception

Join CDTS for an afternoon of inspiration as they celebrate the impact of digital trust research!
