Big Hands Alt Pride at Big Hands
Big Hands Alt Pride is a free, open-to-all weekend-long celebration of everything alternative. In this third edition of Big Hands‘ take on Pride expect alt-DJ sets from their queer community featuring punk, rock, folk, garage, 60s, grunge, and all the rest!
On Friday resident party-starter DJ SexGoddess takes the decks for a drag vinyl special of punk, garage and wonky pop from 10pm until 3am. On Saturday, QUEER BEES presents a day of live music featuring The Red Stains, Piston Dreams and Queer Coda. Following the live bands Punk is Dead Inc DJs until 3am. The night starts at 8pm, it’s £3 on the door with proceeds going towards a local LGBTIQA+ youth charity.
Finally, on Sunday, Mestizo Sounds presents a night of Cuban music, so dress appropriately, bring your best moves and get involved with a night of Latin dance.
