Having grown up together since the second grade, the band’s deep-rooted connection fuels their genre-bending approach. Influences range from Nine Inch Nails, Susumu Yokota, and Janet Jackson to Limp Bizkit, Lil Jon, DAF, and Smash Mouth, creating a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is infectious.
While their music pulls from dance-punk, surf-punk, and synth-rock, Big Fun prefers to call it “Gutter-Tech”—a clash of electronic textures and abrasive rock grit. It’s the sound of electronic instruments thrown into a mosh pit.
