Anniversary Open Evening at The Pankhurst Centre

Join The Pankhurst Centre for a special night at the museum to celebrate 120 years since the founding of the Women’s Social and Political Union, and 36 years since the opening of the Pankhurst Centre.

Come along and learn more about the Pankhursts and WSPU, which was founded in 1903 at our house on Nelson Street. Find out all about the campaign to save the building when it was at risk of demolition in the 1970s. Try your hand at badge making and create a special souvenir to take home with you.
