An Evening With David Sedaris

One of America’s most celebrated satirists and humour writers, David Sedaris has made his life an open book.

Through essays, diaries, and his popular BBC Radio series, he highlights the absurdities of human nature and modern life—family, travel, relationships, aging, the pandemic, political upheavals, and even roadside trash.

By turns misanthropic and poignant, Sedaris uses precise prose and sharp observation to make audiences laugh, reflect, and sometimes feel deeply moved.

He returns to The Bridgewater Hall to read new and unpublished stories, answer audience questions, and meet fans with book signings.
