- Manchester Psyc Festival
- 4th September 2021
Manchester Psych Fest is an all-day celebration of psychedelic music and art, returning to the Oxford Road Corridor in September, following the postponement of 2020’s event. Taking over seven stages at YES, Gorilla, The Dancehouse, Deaf Institute and The Ritz, the eighth instalment of the festival will be headlined by English-French avant-pop band, Stereolab, Irish post-punk band quartet Girl Band and poet-guitarists and soul rebels, Tinariwen.
Manchester Psych Fest is bigger than it’s ever been, organised by Now Wave, the Manchester-based promoters behind YES, 3,500 people are expected to attend this year’s edition.
The quality of the line-up extends well beyond the headliners with breakout acts like Billy Nomates, Dry Cleaning and Julia Bardo joining favourites KOKOROKO, Stealing Sheep and Whyte Horses.
Over 50 acts will play across the seven stages with DJs, street food and exhibitions rounding out what might be Manchester’s biggest music event in 2021. This year’s festival is proudly supported by Oxford Road Corridor.
