All Saints Park Redevelopment

All Saints Park Redevelopment

Manchester Metropolitan University is committed to creating a truly modern campus in the heart of Manchester. To realise this they developed a Public Realm Masterplan, which will be delivered over several phases and reshape the public areas at the centre of their campus.

The university consulted with close neighbours, staff and students about their plans in 2019 and 2020. Manchester City Council granted planning permission in June 2021 to deliver exciting plans for the first phase of the project, which includes the All Saints Park redevelopment.

Works to deliver the first phase have started with experienced contractor Casey delivering the project which is expected to be completed by spring 2024.

The project will boost biodiversity and open up the area around All Saints Park. Once completed, both pedestrians and cyclists will be prioritised on both Lower Ormond Street and Cavendish Street.
